Troop 671 WELCOMES YOU

All boys, from any school and any faith, 6th grade up to the age of 18 are welcome to join Troop 671. We meet Mondays at 7pm in Quinn Hall at St. Hedwig church,11482 Los Alamitos Blvd., Los Alamitos, CA. Troop 671 is dedicated to the total scout experience. We strive to maintain an active schedule of outdoor adventures, facilitate rank advancements, provide leadership opportunities, and perform community service. Our goal is to develop young adults who live the virtues of scouting and experience a lifetime of memories.

St. Hedwig Autumnfest 2026!

It's time for the annual St. Hedwig Church Autumnfest!

As our way of giving back to our scout home and to fund raise for our troop, we run the exciting Goldfish Booth throughout the festival weekend!

Every family is REQUIRED to work at least one shift during the weekend but are encouraged to work additional shifts this year. A scout and their adult will work a shift together.

Scouts who are 14 and older may work a different shift from their adult's shift to help accommodate the high school busy schedules and adults work schedules.

You may use Zelle to pay for troop events. Cash and check are still acceptable forms of payment.

What is the Troop Committee?

The Troop Committee is 41 members strong! You may not be aware that YOU are already a part of the Troop Committee. We are the "registered adults" within Troop 671. The Troop Committee meets once per month to discuss and plan troop activities and needs. Our scouts meet each month at a PLC (Patrol Leaders Council) to plan what they would like to do at meetings, where they would like to camp, and what service projects they may be interested in participating in. The Troop Committee then takes those scout created ideas and makes them a reality. If you would like to learn more about the troop please come to a Troop Committee meeting. We meet once per month on a Wednesday evening. Check out the calendar and stop by!

Halloween "Pack Recruitment" Meeting

This Monday, October 30th, our troop will be hosting 15-20 cub scouts at its Halloween Pack Recruitment event. Our PLC has planned a fun evening for the cub scouts to enjoy while learning some scout skills for their cub scout requirements. We know how important a strong recruitment effort is and look forward to Spring when the AOLs bridge from the packs to Troop 671. We need parents to be present to help facilitate this event.
