Pack 620 AOL's visit our troop tonight and we want to have a good showing!  The troop has sustained itself for 55 years by recruiting new scouts who bring energy and new volunteers to our program.  Tonight's meeting will utilize stations to teach knife, saw, and axe safety.  We need all scouts on deck to assist and to be good role models with their behavior and level of engagement while interacting with the younger AOL scouts.  We hope to see you there!

Autumnfest is just around the corner!

Be on the look out for an email with a Sign Up Genius link!  Families will use Sign Up Genius to schedule their "Gold Fish Booth" shift.  Each scout and their registered adult are required to work 1 booth shift.  Scouts 14 and older may work a spearate shift from their "adult" to accomodate highschool sports/extracurricular activiy schedules.   This is a great opportunity to meet other troop families and to promote Troop 671 to the community.  Please wear your Class B tee shirts when working in the booth.

The Boulder Campout was awesome! 42 campers attended!

We fished, many earned their Totin Chip, knife/axe safety was learned, progress was made on the Red Rope Challenge, a 5 mile hike to a gorgeous mountain lake and meadow was completed, 3 cooking patrols prepared 4 meals, an Eagle Scout Conference was completed, many sign offs were completed, and new families from Pack 620 were there to share in it all.  Trenton, Charlie, Liam, and John Paul all participated this weekend and completed their first campout as Troop 671 Boy Scouts! Congrats Golden Eagle patrol! We look forward to seeing you on future campouts.
